Thank you Sreenadh. This is it!
It was choreographed differently but it was definitely this tillana.
Was there no sahitya since it was composed for a hindi movie?
Are there other tillanas without sahitya?
What are the other ragas besides hindolam and mohanam and may I have the lyrics Lakshman sir?
From one of the posts below the youtube video i gather it was composed by Vazhuvoor Ramiah Pillai. Is this correct?
Since it is a movie song i should be able to find the audio easily, I think?
One thing I loved about the video was the orchestra accompanying Kamala Lakshman, the dancer, was an all woman orchestra and
this is a black and white movie! Do you know who these ladies are?
Also I saw rather disapproving comments about the spinning/rolling on the floor by the dancer. Is that frowned upon?
However i have seen youtube videos where bharatanatyam dancers spin on the floor though on the knees. Is that considered ok?
Here is Mythili Prakash 3:10 to 3:56 doing shivamayam and spinning on her knees on stage for shivamayam at about 3:20

Is this considered kosher? It
looks very impressive!
Again thank you, thank you.
