I have collated the different posts with padacchEda and padArtha in that thread into one (I have incorportaed the corrections that Keerthi made as well):

avatamasa - i thought this meant born of or part of.... therefore i took the meaning of kalAdharAvatamsakam to mean
kalAdhara - sivan beacuse he is the ultimate source of all arts, then kalAdharAvatamsakam - born of sivan
namat sura ari nirjaram nata adhika Apa durdaram | - i dont fully understand the meaning of this line because, the term sura ari was left out....
also kapola dAna vAraNam...
i also do not understand the meanings of the above words in their respective places..

nirjaraM = devas (those who never age = immortals)
nata adhika Apa durdaram - One who is (bountiful ) like a rain-bearing cloud, towards his supplicants
