Chandan Kumar on flute is featured that day by the South Indian Music Academy
If you enjoy HM, Debashish Bhattacharya plays guitar at the Music Circle.

VK RAMAN, your sulekha link brings up another option - a Bharatanatyam arangetram on that day:

I guess I have no takers for a get together in Los Angeles. I have heard Aishu in the past at least twice may be three times. I would like to hear Chandan Kumar. The good thing is one concert is at 5:00 PM and the other begins at 8:00 PM.
Here are my question to residents of Los Angeles. How far is Pasadena, Occidental College from Hoover middle school.
Do these organizations begin and end their concerts on time. This will help me plan.

Mohan,
I drove by many of the fire ravaged places. It feels like a ghost town. Absolutely devoid of any greenery. Miles and miles of grey and black with remnants of what was once a community. Feel extremely sad at the toll nature can take. I even got out of my car and spoke to some of the homeowners. What a pity. The heat is unbelievable and I thought Chennai and Mumbai were hot spots. Boy am I wrong.
I hope the concerts are on for tomorrow. I am hoping to catch the 5:00 PM concert of Chandan and then drive down to Pasadena for Aishu's concert at about 7:15 PM. Very curious to check out this historic chapel inside Occidental college.
