taking cameras into sabhas

Hello, i will be visiting Chennai later this week and will be there till around Jan 2 or 3rd. I read about very tight security in some sabhas. I am planning to take my digital camera to sabhas where i attend concerts and take one/two snaps of the concert ( of course sitting at my seat and not using the flash to disturb the artistes.

) I had done this last year, but am not sure of this year. I also know Sri Hariharan has been uploading reviews with photographs, but i am not sure if this is possible in all sabhas.
Can you let me know if we can take cameras to Music academy, Krishna Gana Sabha, Narada gana sabha etc?

Not sure about Music Academy. Have seen people take snaps at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha and Narada Gana Sabha.

Music Academy doesn't allow it. I've tried a couple times on the sly, even from the balcony, but they have security guys everywhere.

Except for the Academy and Kalakhsetra you should be OK

thanks for your inputs everyone. I hope i will be able to take some good snaps, and will try to post song lists/reviews along with pictures if possible.
