Does anyone have this CD? I am just curious how so many RTPs can fit in 2 audio CDs ... Are they MP3s or just snippets?

Must be one hell of a CD with varali and sahana RTPs. Also, any idea who the accompanists are?

It is a pretty good CD. It has 4 full RTPs in varali, thodi, bhairavi and sahana and some thukkadas. The varali alapana is just exquisite, the bhairavi alapana is also detailed, RK's sahana is ofcourse well known. The accompanists are not mentioned. Certainly not the usual suspects (LGJ, MSG, TNK) but they are pretty good. I thought the accompanist for the varali RTP was Pappa, hopefully somebody can confirm. There are a couple of pallavis in 3-kalai which is fairly rare nowadays. My only disappointment is that they did not include any nadai pallavis (RK has sung many of those too).
