Thanks jananee for this info . It's equally interesting the first ever music festival of OVK is organised by Ravikiran.

I obtained a copy of the book on "Venkata Kavi" Sri Ravikiran as well as copy of the digitally remastered CD of his grandfather Sri Narayana Iyengar's old 78 rpm recording from Shri Ravikrian. I listened to the CD three times already and read parts of the book. The music of Shri Narayana Iyengar is a real treat, his style, the eminent simplicity and grandeur of the times is simply out of the world. The CD still retains occasional noise disturbances due to the shear age of the 78 rpm record, but that is expected.

The book on Venkata Kavi by Shri Ravikiran is very nice and it is written in English to the worldwide audience. Even school kids all over can read that book. I hope Shri Ravikiran can spend more time, writing books in similar style of other pre-trinity, post trinity composers.
