Meaning-sariga kongu

Namaste,
could someone kindly provide the meaning of these lines from the composition "sariga kongu" by Ghanam Krishna Iyer?

sAriga kongu musukudani tOvADu saikatEsinadi kaNTimEvO [pallavi]
tirigi tirigi jUcukoni sogasugA dEvuDaina mannAruranguDu [charanam]

sAriga = of the saree, kongu = The border or hem, colloq: the pallu portion of the saree some times used to cover the head and face, musuku = using as a veil, hiding from others view, danitO = with her, vADu = he, saikatEsinadi =(she) signalled, kaNTivEmO = (you) might have noticed,

Gist: Possibly: Did you notice that she covered her head and signalled? (Seems to be minor errors in text)

tirigi tirigi = turning back again and again, jUcukoni = having observed, sogasugA = daintily, dEvuDaina = Godly mannAruranguDu = Ranga of Mannaru [Sri Ranganatha of Mannarugudi?]

The pallavi portion is not clear, may be some minor transliteration errors.

I think the pallavi should be like this

sariga kongu musukudani tOvADu saika jEsinadi kaNTivEmO

sariga = lace or necklace, kongu musukudani tOvADu saika =Signal, jEsinadi kaNTimEvO
sariga kongu = the pallu adorned with lace

Can't 'sariga' be the same as 'sariyAga' in tamizh (i.e appropriately covering her face with the pallu she signalled to ....)? To accept sariga as the golden border, it will be a corruption of zariga, right? (zarigai in tamizh).

sariga is the jari/jaratAri/zari work, usually with silver and golden threads in sarees.

This song appears to be about mannAruranga(hero) signalling to another woman and the nAyikA(heroine) asking if her friend saw this signalling

Did you see him signalling to that woman covering her face with the ornate seragu/pallu/mundi?

and the line from caraNa means- "again and again(or turning/craning his neck repeatedly), looking at her and charmingly, mannAruranga" signalled to her. Did you see it?

Rigapada: Thank you for providing the meaning. This is how the lyrics are sung in the song. I think that , from a dance perspective at least, the interpretation given by drshrikaant would make sense.
