The vinyl preservation project has some CM Vinyl recordings available for listening ( streamed ).

You should be able to play it by clicking on the 56K or 256K buttons. You need real player. ( the streaming is a bit flaky, so persist with it ).

THANKS for those tracks.
T. Viswanathan is SK Viswanathan: younger brother of Balasaraswati: I had the privilege to listen to a live performance by this superb artist many years ago. I think the man was a born teacher, who could not miss a single opportunity to teach. Wesleyan was fortunate to have had him!

Kiran, to play these tracks on a mac, I do the equivalent of right clicking and d/ling the linked file: and when I click on the file, it plays on RP...

For me, it is a touch'n go affair. It works if I don't mess with it too much

Currently I can not play any of them: It says 'Direct linking to the audio files is not allowed'.

srkris, when you have time, could you post the direct links to the .rm files for all these tracks? ( I realize it is a bit much to ask ). They worked consistently for me.
