Very nice photos coolkarni
For those who prefer PDF format, I have converted the above 2 photo-files to PDF. Some photos look better in this format(Dont ask me why!!!).

Will post the 2nd file shortly as rapidshare/internet connection is playing up.

Thanks coolkarni and DRS for the pdf which makes the viewings easier. We need some comments to identify some of the unknowns in the pictures. I am enjoying the flashbacks!

The credit for these photos goes to your very good friend Laxmi Subr. They are from his collection.I pinched it from a friend of his in Bangalore !
For more photos ,We should still make it to mankkals home (now that i have finished my tours and braced myself for a searing Summer in Chennai)

i agree with you.the black and white ones convey an atmosphere like no color photo can do.

srkris,
Thank you. A true visual treat.
As an added bonus we also have the intersting, and as usual informative, comments by "Vishnu" under the MMI thread in the Vidwans section. I hope more people will pitch in.

I have been thoroughly enjoying this matured and serene forum of true kalaa rasikas. Hats of to Shri Kulkarni and Shri Ramakrishnan. People like me sitting in the office for 14 hours a day for the sake of money can have only one healthy habit at the work place, that is visiting this forum.

I pray the almighty to give all that is needed to these great people to continue this great service. We might have got good learnings from similar forums, we can put to use all of them and make this forum free from cheap commentaries and bashings in the name of freedom of expression.

Let this forum remain a serene forever!

Namasthe!

just placing a request to post any rare pictures of palghat srI raghu as and when anyone might come across one. most of what i have now, is what you get for a routine google image search, and one from sawf.org.

meena, thanks a lot for thsoe 2 links. found an excellent pic of srI gnb with his 'pet' accompanists, lgj and pr!! simply great.

In photos-2.doc, is that Chembai playing violin for Mali? Can anyone say for sure?

Ganesh.
