I am interested in the discourses of Pulavar Keeran. I have Kanda Puranam and Villi Bharatham. If anyone uploads his other discourses, I shall be much obliged.

Here is the first part (of 4). I liked this because of its quality recording and the substance of his discourse, his flow of Tamil and his abundant knowledge, spanning from TirukkuraL, Thirumoolar, Pattinathar and Nammazhvar etc., While listening to the concept of ~death~ and ~Aasai~ and Pattinathar's classic one line ~ from birth to death~ , one may even lose sleep and go deep-divine. Worth listening... Blessed those, who know Tamil... A change from the discussion on Ragaas to discourse on Bhishma. enjoy.

Here is Part II of his dicourse. This is very important because of his explanation of Bheshma and his story. Here you will find the "beauty" of death by Pattinathar as I told earlier. Real treat to enjoy the week end.

thanks sastrigal ! I really enjoyed not it brings back memories of time i heard Pulavar Keeran live when i was only on my 6th standard ..(now am 40yrs old) i used to go with the friend of mine to the nearby temple (trichy) to listen to him. Never missed a day...in all about 30 days of both Kambaramayanam and Villibaratham. I liked the day most when he narrated the story of Karna and his greatness.

I am thankful to for uploading and would be glad if you could upload more of villibaratham. the discourse i heard when i was kid was about 2hrs each day for 15 days or so...was WOW stuff all the way.

Iam yet to find a best site to upload (apart from rapidshare since Iam not a member). Frequent power cuts in Chennai and "time factor" delaying my upload. I will do it this week.

Could you mail to me as attachment 'freely downloadable' Pulavar Keeran's discourses to mail id tlssubra@yahoo.com

All his discourses are treasures of tamil literature and it should be preserved and pass them on to next generation. Likewise Anantharama Dikshidar's mantras and discourses are also loveable to hear and request to mail to me.

Iam trying to upload another 4-5 episodes of Keeran. Even I do not have full version of Mah or Ramayan. Anantarama Dikshitar is already available in Sangeethapriya.org. Anantharama D's Devi Mahatmyam and Srimadh Bhagavatham is available on Sale. Except Pulavar Keeran, all the other, I have, is dowloaded fr S.priya
