I am Shyamala Rangarajan, an MA in Indian Music from Madras University. I learnt from eminent persons like - Shri Calcutta Krishnamurthy, Shri S. Rajam, Smt Suguna Varadachari, Dr KS Subramanian, Dr Seetha, Shri Coimbatore Kannan. I am an accredited artist of AIR. I have performed in different Sabhas in various places in India. I was a teacher in the Govt College of Music, Tiruvaiyaru, for some time.
I have been a trainer in carnatic music - Vocal, for the past 20 years. While I teach my students in Trichy, where I live, face to face, my students in the US and other countries learn from me thro Internet.
