can anyone suggest some bharathanatyam songs under 8 min which has both nritta and abhinaya .

Try mahAdEva sutam. rAgA: Arabhi. Adi tALA.

The song has got every thing and should not take any more than 8 minutes. Has good rhythem, nice chollukattu and good scope for abhinayam.

Meena,
naTanam ADinAr, or ADi koNDAr anda vEDikkai kANa could serve as well. You could also try some of Dikshitar's compositions that have ciTTaswarams.

thanks. We have these songs already. these are all quite familiar songs. Can you suggest any new rare songs.
