I just wanted to know the true & original reason/purpose for singing mangalam to conclude the conert. Why does the inclusion/exclusion of managal vary for different artiste & concerts. Any info regarding this subject will be appreciated.

The term mangala (an adjective) could mean auspicious / lucky / propitious… By singing His praise, the mangalam (i) invokes peace and blessings for all (ii) wards off evil or misfortune
