ramaraj(vageyakara). thanks for reminding about your kriti iin lavanki. heard it once again. how beautifully composed in 4 swaras. Legend Balamuralikrishna is the creator of this raaga, am i correct ? GOBILALITHA

Yes Balu(gbl)it is a creation of our living legend the great Dr. BMK.I think his kriti starts like this "Omkara praNava nAtha or some thing like that.Thank u for reminding about Sri.BMK

I heard Sri M.R.Subramanyam on radio in the morning FM broadcast.The krithi starts as "Dasharatha suta" in ragam jaunpuri(sorry,I had asked for Maand which is incorrect).I have only heard him in the radio programmes,but I feel like hearing more from him.His voice,ease and bhava are great.I think he is an Agrade artist of AIR.I feel you will agree with me that some voices just stay in our hearts.
Sorry I dont know if this song is in any CD or cassette.The composer is vanamamaalia Jeeyar(apologies if I have spelt wrongly)
