I had personally wanted to go to Trichur Brothers at Vanimahal .Being a working day to reach vanimahal was not possible as the start was at 06 30 PM. With lot of snarls just reached around 06 05 PM in the Other side of Indian Fine Arts . I did not realize the metro digging has no access of Ethiraj kalyana mandapam. To go around took me around 15 mins , i just bought the ticket .

At that time i heard maayaMalavagowlai , not sure if that was the first krithi . The patron gent and a lady said the concert just now started. I asked since it started significantly late will it go atleast 2 plus hours upto 09 30 pm. The male patron yesterday Sandeep Narayanan sang a lot of time and we will not stop. I jokingly said you did give time for Sandeep possibly because of his father in law, will this RKM also get . There was a chuckle they both seemed optimistic . At that point of time the main climax was if the second Los Angeles Lakers vidwan will get as long time as the first Los Angeles Lakers Viwan

RKM -Vittal Rangan - Chandrasekara Sharma are surely top notch assisted by a bit senior vidwan Delhi Sairam . MEru samana is an extraordinary krithi , i heard only the krithi . From there as i settled there was a bit on and off malfunction of sound system. kAnada came out well with a round of swaras felt i did not hear the ghatam and also overall balance was not heard that well. Will saramathi settle well konjam many in audience complained i think i heard it ok, this krithi suits a lot with lot of kaarvai RKM sang very well.

The next was a detailed hurryKamBodhi, of late i have just noticed RKM is also picking up a bit more of brigas and flashy sangathis not too much squatting on his primary Idol KVN.Nice neraval with mrudangam not heard that well but still it was ok as Delhi Sairam can be bit aggressive . swaras were measured , at that time lot of complaints turned up to sound board technicians

Orukaal anupallavi start with ending with muruga muruga is always a preferred choice for saveri , primarily that approach saves atleast 2 mins . He did well with saveri .

Kalyani came out well in alapana , again many in audience were not happy with the sound setup , i felt both the percussion was not that heard well, any adjustment request was only done promptly but it did not give a correct setting. The lovely shyama sastri of Kalyani had a malfunctioned sound setup.
For the tani the volume of mrudangam was raised and i heard it well , it was a bit long tani and certainly both played well. How will la lakers vidwan 2 perform post tani , will there be a RTP or more krithis is what i thought post javali which had a significant semmangudi stamp. The last was a detailed viruththam there were a string of 6 ragas he took two in succession and handed over to violinist . All were measured yet detailed , so this viruththam was certainly well sung and was the best part . Post viruththam last round of violinist return , i heard a surprising pavamana - certainly in my life for the first time there was a viruththam , violin return and a pavamana , i think LA Laker RKM did not take chance like LA Laker Sandeep .

The violinist Vittal Rangan had great Sruthi suddham , konjam he had a fluctuating volume setup , he has a remarkable capacity to toe so well . Both the percussionist had their share of camaraderie which only their feedback monitor captured not the house speaker

Overall a very good to excellent concert for 2 hours and 15 mins
