These concerts were held yesterday. I am hoping @NickH will upload some pictures.
The videos are available online (https://www.youtube.com/@sunaadalahariIRT/featured)
Three outstanding performances. All fantastic young talent.
The main artistes were from Andhra (Ramya), Karnataka (Manasa), and Kerala (Mahadevan).
These artistes are all destined for greater things. Rather than write a review on a concert series we have organized (COI), I will leave it to rasikas to enjoy.
We were pleased that senior Vidwan Dr. Suryaprakash, vocalist Nashville Mahadevan, and Dr. BMK historian Veejay Sai attended and spoke, embellishing the event further.
Finally, I need to mention the venue, which we have been fortunate to get 7 years in a row and the extreme generosity of Dr. Shankar, Aishwarya Shankar (while I am at it please watch this wonderful conversation between Aishwarya and SK TM Krishna; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGvZL3YkBqQ), Sriram, and Sudhakar is deeply appreciated.

Re: SKB memorial concerts 31 December 2024
This year, I only saw one concert in full, and a little of another.
The Hindustani concert was (despite the building site next door) so soothing and beautiful.
Veena players who also sing often do so just to give the context of what they are about to play, but not pretending to be a vocalist as such. Mahadevan's voice was as good as his playing. He did both beautifully.
Mohan, it is always good to meet you: there is always interesting conversation both musical and non-musical. Don't know if we can meet again before your return to the frozen North. Thank you very much for the very pleasant lunch and snacks.
Ragasudha Hall is my second home; Sunaadalahari comes a close next as third home
I will try to put some pictures, maybe tomorrow.

Like all previous years, we had a mix of vocal and instrumental, HM and CM, and gender and geographical balance.
All within 3 concerts!!!

Re: SKB memorial concerts 31 December 2024
Missed myself there, of course
Again, warm wishes to all members of the SKB family whose love for him (GBL, as we all knew him and admired him on the forum and outside of it) is something. The care with which they put the concerts together, blending the south and the north in the segments is with GBL's own taste in mind, no doubt.
If I make it to the next season, I am going to be there, partaking in the ardor with which the family celebrates him.
A happy new year to all the family, Mohan!
And to all rasikAs who read this
Nick, look forward to the pictures

Thanks @arasi and @nick H
Please watch the concerts @arasi. You will enjoy the BMK kritis and Ramya's rendering of them in her own style.
Also listen to "chinnan chiru kiliye" by Mahadevan.
And the pitch perfect Manasa's renditions.
