Abhishek Raghuram this season

Post by gajaa »

This is conspicuous by its absence in terms of reviews in our forums. Is Abhishek not performing a good number of concerts this season ? Looking forward to hearing on his concerts

What do you mean? I was at his Indian fine arts Concert yesterday. He was in his usual form and would have probably sung for another 2 hours after I left (I mean, the tani had not started by 9:15 p.m, and he was still doing swaras in Harikambodhi).

More on this later. I'm starved of time, so can't write right now.

Check out the schedules in the global announcement.

That’s great to know! Was just wondering why I wasn’t seeing any reviews of his concerts on our forums here.. that’s it

You know, I am beginning to understand why rasikas do the twitter reviewing (although they could write a bit more elaborately instead of just 5 words). It's like the only time we have when we actually can review the concert, though it comes at the cost of paying undivided attention to the music.

This has given me a new idea. My gear cogs are grinding... I will implement this at the next concert.

I started the season with Abhishek check
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=32162
If my memory is right his vanimahal got cancelled as for that day he was indisposed.

srinath or ALL in general
Just type the song list as a start in notepad , then slowly in few days time add the subjective part and boom the review is done.

Here is a better idea : Edit your review and keep adding stuff as the concert keeps going on (instead of twitter style). Maybe write the detailed impact of the concert on you a little later. That edit button lasts for a day or two during which we can do anything. That way I can finish my review within minutes of the concert concluding and don't have to spend extra time on it later (which I don't have).

I will give it a try at whichever concert I am attending today.

Thanks a lot for the pointer. Looking forward to hearing more about other concerts as you implement your brainwave soon :)

He gave a fantastic concert at BVB with Entaro Mahanubhavulu as main. I thought I wrote about it.
