Vishnu Kauthuvam clarification

I know you have discussed the Vishnu Kauthuvam. But I got to understand from somewhere that the line" kuM tA ku-kuMtA kukuM tari kiTa taka muttu mAri piLLaiyAr naga jaga jaga" the word Muthu Mari Pillayar are the ganas.

Just wanted to clarify if my understanding is right.
