Dear brother-member, sagars, It must be ‘Nyasa-svaram’ which means the ending Svaram of Pallavi or Anupallavi or Charana of a Kriti or the ending Svara sung in Svarakalpana before taking up the lyric of a Kriti but not ‘Gnasa-svaram’. It must be ‘Amsa-svaram’ which means the most important note or Jeeva-svara of a Raga. These two are among the Raga-dasha-lakshanas i.e., 10 lakshanas of a Raga but not 'Hamsa-svaram'. amsharma.
