Considered one of India’s greatest Ambassadors of culture from age two, Sangeet Samrat Chitravina N Ravikiran has repeatedly stunned the world with his unmatched feats and multi-faceted genius – as a vocalist from age five, chitravina virtuoso from age 11, absolutely non-stop 25 hour recital at age 18, composer of epic productions like Ramayana, Mahabharatam, Lakshmi Prabhavam and hundreds of krtis, varnams and tillanas over the years and significantly, as inventor of the award winning concept of Melharmony in world music.
History making tour: Ravikiran will yet again stun audiences with the never-before-attempted Carnatic Triathlon Concert, which will consist of 3 individual segments of nearly equal parts - vocal, chitravina and sangita upanyasam (musical discourse that is similar to, yet distinct from harikatha). Furthermore, the vocal segment will exclusively feature Ravikiran’s choice, the chitravina segment will be a blend of Ravikiran’s selections and audience request while the musical discourse will be the organization’s choice from the following topics:

Contributions: Ravikiran’s seminal contributions as a revolutionary guru, inventor of tele-teaching in Indian music (http://www.acharyanet.com), pioneering initiatives of music for Rural Children in India, path creating efforts in introducing Indian music and Melharmony in USA School Districts, champion of the brilliant works of Oottukkadu Venkata Kavi, author of hundreds of articles and best-selling books, history-shaping lectures on topics like Shruti Values and Seamless Korvais, philanthropic concerts for causes from Tsunami to Hurricane Katrina and numerous schools and hospitals, have won him musical, academic and social acclaim.
Awards: Ravikiran is the only musician to have been awarded a Fellowship at age two - from The Music Academy, Madras. He is the first/youngest to have won many awards including the President of India’s Sangeet Nataka Akademi Award, Citations from City of Houston and Tulsa, City of Middleton’s Decree of Melharmony Day in his honour, Sangeet Award from Harvard University and titles such as Sangita Ratnakara, Sangeeta Choodamani, Sangita Kalasarathy and besides numerous Lifetime Achievement Awards from leading establishments.
