I heard about this artform from a friend of mine who used it in her film on Indian Mathematical Heritage. It's a folk art form from Andhra that combines story telling with music and dance. It would be good if knowledgeable rasikas can share more information.

Dear brother-member, sbala, In this connection, yesterday, I have met one of my friends, Shri G.Sathyanrayana, Programme Officer, Department of Culture, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, who has since many years been regularly holding number of such programmes, and requested him to go through your post in our rasikas.org and respond accordingly. He would do that within a few days and you will get the relevant information. amsharma.

Dear Sharmaji,
Thanks for your efforts to get Shri G.Sathyanrayana to enlighten us about this artform.
Arasi,
One of my friends who works for St. Xaviers Mumbai has been doing some work on Indian Mathematical Heritage. I have asked her for some clips of her short film. I will let you once I get access to it.
