Hi,
My cousin is visiting India from the US with her two daughters (12 yrs and 8 yrs) for two months in July & Aug. She is looking for good music teacher/school around the Adyar area for this period (basic training).
Any pointers please ?

thanks

There are two girls Randini and Roshini from whom my daughter learnt when we visited India.I was thoroughly satisfied with their dedicated effort. They are in Alrmel mangapuram near the Saibaba temple.I highly recommend them. They are called Padma sheshadri sisters. They also do Kutcheri's from time to time. You can attend their Kutcheri's .I have also heard about Murali Padmanabhan though I don't have a personal experience.

You can contact the Lakshminarayana School of Music. Their contact is lnschoolofmusic@rediffmail.com. Excellent training is given in their school and it has a name of its own.
