Anybody has photograph of Vidwan Sabhesha Iyer and a some biographic sketches?

Found one!!

He was awarded the Sangitha Kalanidhi in 1929. The Music Academy website has photos of *most* Sangitha Kalanidhi's. You can find the photo here. The flash is a bit awkward to use, but if you make one picture big and scroll left with your left arrow key, you will get there eventually. Hope this helps!

It says KSN -- Veena Vidwan KS Narayanaswamy -- did that.

Very little is known about this 'vidwan" who has produced maximun number of Sangita Kalanidhis - direct disciples!

Is this Vidwan a title form any Maharaja/Academy?

Any other singer has the same title?

There was a photo of Sabhesa Iyer in one of the Ganamruta Bodhini books authored by Panchapakesa Iyer. It might be available with the Karnatic Music Book Centre (http://carnaticbooks.com)

The first time I saw that photo (and that book), I had no idea who he was and why his photo was relevant in a book that taught music theory.
