SRGMPDN, a music forum for Carnatic Music based in the Washington DC Metro, wishes all rasikas a new year filled with happiness, good health, and prosperity.
SRGMPDN online radio will broadcast a special program (details provided below) paying tribute to veteran musician Sri. T.K. Govinda Rao. The program will feature a special interview with Sangita Kalanidhi Vidhushi's Bombay Sisters Smt. C. Saroja and Smt. C. Lalitha. SRGMPDN is extremely grateful to Bombay Sisters for readily agreeing to our request and enthusiastically helping us with the interview exclusively for this program. The experience interacting with Bombay Sisters during the interview process not only revealed their deep respect and admiration for their revered Guru Sri. TKG but for us gave a glimpse of their unassuming and modest personality. It truly was a humbling experience.
