Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Bangalore Chapter is organizing Smt. Rajashree Warrier's Bharathanatyam Thematic Presentation of Lankalekshmi at NGMA, Manikyavelu Palace, Bangalore on Saturday July 30, 2011
Rajasree Warrier will be presenting a choreographic adaptation of the iconic Malayalam play, Lankalekshmi, by C.N. Sreekantan Nair. Rajasree’s adaptation of the play portrays the various traits of Ravana as father, husband, brother, patriot, devotee of Siva, connoisseur of arts by combining the technique of Bharathanatyam and aesthetics of drama.
The programme begins at 18.30hrs sharp and the guests are requested to be seated by 18.15 hrs at least.
