1. Go to http://tinypic.com
2. Click the "browse" button and select the file from your computer
3. Click "upload now" button. Correctly enter the code displayed and click "upload now".
4. Wait for the picture to upload. Once it has uploaded, it will give some links..
5. Copy the text that appears under "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" and paste it in your message here.
It may be a bit difficult the first few times.

It is not too difficult to understand if you are used to computers, but the gentleman who has asked the procedure is 90. I anticipated difficulty for him considering his age.

I am glad you like it.
Would "Members' Stuff & Lounge > Navaratri in Fullerton cA" be right place for this photo? Mylapore Sri Kapaleeswar Temple was discussed there.

Thanks Bala. Nice picture. It has the ambiance of a village temple.
Do the two structures in the front still exist? The one in the front looks like a 'sumai thAngi' ( this is commonly provided in earlier times for people carrying heavy load to put it down to take a break ).
You can post the picture in the thread you have stated. I think that is appropriate.
Also, you can post this in the History of Carnatic music sub-forum. There is a thread caled "Old and historical pictures from the hindu archives".. If this does not come from Hindu archive you can open another thread, something like "old and historical pictures".

If my orientation is correct, it is all stalls selling stuff along the whole of that side of the tank. I don't think that anything is hidden among them. I'll check, thoughDo the two structures in the front still exist?

I recall the structure. Sumai thangi? I am not sure. In late 60's Mylapore bus terminus was extended to occupy the entire stretch. There were no shops at that time. The 5 series bus stand was near the structure.vasanthakokilam wrote: ... the two structures in the front ....
