Hello All,

For many years now, we have been ardent followers of the discussions on rasikas.org, admiring the intelligent ones, and also enjoying the sometimes not-so-intelligent banter.

For long, we have felt there is a lacuna of quality content online about the classical art form of Kuchipudi. To bridge this gap in our own small way, we a group of performers and performance studies researchers from across the world, have founded Kuchipudi Vaibhavam (http://kuchipudivaibhavam.org/).

Kuchipudi Vaibhavam is a online platform where exclusive content in terms of interviews, dance history, theory, profile features of Great Gurus, opinions of young performers (the future) and so on are showcased.

Our interview series started off with Padma Bhushan Yamini Krishnamurthy, reflecting on her Kuchipudi journey. Likewise, our Voice of Youth series started off with Yamini Reddy. We are intent on showcasing all aspects: the past, the present and the future of Kuchipudi dance to the online community at large. We urge rasikas to kindly use the platform we have created to know more about the Kuchipudi dance family.

Kuchipudi Vaibhavam is not associated/affiliated to any dance institution/centre and strives to maintain its non-partisan outlook in all content produced therein. Kuchipudi Vaibhavam is managed on a purely voluntary basis.

Some people know more and some like me are in the process of learning the nuances of the art form .. I don't think its right for you to call a set of people as intelligent and other non intelligent/dumb..! that too in a forum like this.. you are only discouraging people from posting their queries here..! We think you misunderstood our good humored joke. We were referring to those discussions (and discussions alone) which go on and on sometimes, getting lost in endless meandering ways (we are sure you have seen your fair share of them on Rasikas forums). We wouldn't dream of labeling anyone non-intelligent. Please don't read too much into it.

We apologize if you thought otherwise. We understand these kind of misunderstandings happen!
