Hi all,

I am usually unable to search the net for lyrics for any padams (of kshetrayya).
There seems to be a real need for a site containing the lyrics as well as word meanings.

As of now, I would really appreciate it if I could obtain the lyrics/meaning of the following padams:
1) ososi - mukhari (kashiki poyyene) of muddu natesa
2) moratopu - sahana
3) rama rama prana sakhi - bhairavi

Here the heroine is ParakIya and PrOshita. The hero is characterized by the rhetoricians as upapati - a paramour. In this lyric, the hero’s anguish is for his beloved at his native place is narrated by him, when he was away from home. The heroine is characterized as parakIya i.e., a dEvadAsi who is not free to have an affair, and if she has, it will be clandestine. Ksetrayya composed this when he visited Bhadrachalam where he remembered his love for mOhanAngi, his dEvadAsi friend. This is the only place, where rAmA’s name is mentioned, suffering from separation from sItA, in comparison with the anguish of the hero muvvagOpAla, who is identical with the composer himself

Blessed be rAmA, having been separated from his beloved wife, how could he endure?
Thinking of the lotus eyed one, my heart gets worried with grief.
What am I to say alas (blessed be....)

Were not the calls of parrots, in his time, as they are now.
piercing his ears like lances?

burn him like a scorching fire?
Not knowing day and night passing like this,

Ever since I have been separated from my beloved.

Would cupid like a sworn enemy have
