Dear All,

the tansen samaroh is being telecasted on DD Bharathi from december 4th,2009, i request our rasikas to kindly try recording the following recitals and if possible share them too..
Vid.Kaushiki Chakrabarthy on Dec 5th
Ustad Imrat Khan on Dec 6th morning and Jayateerth Mevundi evening, Anindo Chatterjee's tabla recital
Purbayan Chatterjee on Dec 7th evening
Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia on dec 7th evening

I missed the good ones listed above . Most of the other artistes i heard were pretty average folks .

Pt. Giriraj( disciple of Ust. Vilayat Khan) stood out for his potrayal of Rageshree. ( Sunday)

Ust. Ghulam Mustafa Khan was also good. ( Sunday)

The concerts mentioned by the initiator of this post must have happend on earlier days.

The shehnai recital of Rajendra Prasanna was very good. The raga was Brindavani Sarang
Ajay Pohankar's Pahadi was also good.
