Thank you, Thanjavooran Sir, Prashant, Vijay, Punarvasu, Arasiji and rshankar for your wishes.
Prashant and Vijay, we shall definitely put up the audio on the web. Regarding contributions, the ideal thing would have been for you to be in the temple and make your offering there! But since that is not possible, let us know over email how much you would like to donate to the temple, we shall do it for you and you can send the money to us.
Rshankar, our next trip is planned for Thiruvannamalai and Virinchipuram in the first week of December, date to be confirmed soon.
Arasiji, thank you for your kind words. We are playing in a few places this season. The dates are 8th, 26th, 28th December and 6th of January. We would be very happy to see you. The timings and venues and the "Menu" will be put up on our website and blog in a couple of days.

Kulkarniji, that would be a welcome surprise! From Parry's Corner you have to take the road to Royapuram and keep going till you hit Tiruvottriyur High Road. The temple is situated on the main road. It is the road which all buses to Tiruvottriyur and Ennore take. The temple is about 1.5 km from Tollgate bus stand. From Parrys Corner it will be about a 25 minute drive to the temple.
Thanks Ram, it will be good to see you there as well.

I understand that Tiruvannamalai would be celebrating Kartigai Deepam from 2nd to 15th December and the whole city will be overcrowded with lakhs of people and entry into temple would be almost impossible without waiting in a long queue. The ambiance required for Dikshitar might not be available. It would worth considering this point

Certainly it was a nice meeting. Perhaps with two sabha seceretaries , 2 performing musicians and another bangaladeshi immigrant from dhakA who is now in a pAdayAtra thru kalinga land, I was the only odd one out there.coolkarni wrote:

Ramakriya : Yes it is the same temple.
In fact the temple has been visited and/or sung by Vallalar , Pattinathar, and Sambandar & Sundaramurthi Nayanmars too.
The trip and the music in the Sannidhi , as well as finding the correlation of many words in the MD kriti with the details of the temple, were all beautiful experiences on that day.
