This lovely tiru-arutpA of Ramalinga Adigalar immortalized by Smt. MSS is an impassioned plea for the gift of music:

The exultation (kaLippE) that blesses (aruLum) both the learned (kaRRavakkum/kaTravarkkum) and the untutored (kaLLArkkum) alike, with joy (kaLippu)!
The vision (kaNNE) that grants (aLikkum) sight (kaNNu) to both those that have beheld (kaNDavarkkum) him as well as those that have not (kANArkkum)!
The gift (varamE) that bestows (aLikkum) boons (varam) on both the capable (vallArkkum) as well as those that can't (mATTArkkum)!
The consciousness (matiyE/madiyE) that gives (koDukkum) intelligence (madi/mati) to both those that respect (madippavarkkum) him, and those that don't (madiyArkkum)!
The equity/justice (naDuvE) that stands (ninra) between (naDu) the good (nallArkkum) and the evil (pollArkkum)!
The virtue (nalamE) that gives (koDukkum) faith (nalam) to both men (naragaLukkum) and the Gods (surargaLukkum)!
The auspiciousness/pureness (SivamE) that dances/prevails (naTamADuginra) among everyone (yellOrkkum) publicly (poduvil)!
My (en) Lord (araSE)! Please grant me (aNintaruLE) the music (iSaiyum) I (yAn) yearn for/desire (pugalum) as well!

Well done. Abheri gives a kuthoohalam feel. ChenchuriTTi will give a more dainya bhAva. This can be nicely sung by a group repeating during a bhajan.
