It does say, arasi: Jyotsna (that's Jyotsna Srikanth, if my brain cell serves, but I'll check) for two concerts, and Balu Raguraman (if another brain cell serves!) for the third.

Both originally Bangalorians so you might know them!

Both very talented: India's loss that they are in London.

Thank you, Nick. I went by what I saw on the thread heading, and missed out on the details in the posting! Late hour or golden years!
I have heard Dr.Jyotsna, a talented violinist. She accompanied DRS on his Rasikapriya award concert. She is very busy as an accompanist in the UK and Europe, I heard.
Years ago, she was going to play in one of our house concerts, but couldn't make it because she had an interview in a Chennai hospital that day. She was a brand new doctor then. I don't know if she has the time now to practice medicine...

I'd always assumed that her doctorate was in music!

She does come to Chennai for the season, but did not perform last year due to childbirth.

I, too, was going to post asking why the violinist did not get a credit in the title --- then I read the post and saw the error of my assumptions ;)

India's another loss is vidhushi Rajee Gopalakrishnan, who has settled down in USA, thoughshe visits Chennai during Dec .The reason for spotlighting RG in this thread is, in2003 Dr.Jyotsna accompanied RG in a wonderful concert, at Bangalore. After that concert, the Bangaloreaudience did not have an opportunity to hear RG. Incidentally, I would like to inform that my daughter Swati(Navasakthi) for forumites ga ve vocal support to RG in that concert

Gobilalitha,
I did not know that RG lives in the US. Ah, so Swati is a student of hers?

yes RG has settled down in USA .Swati was a student of RG for 2 years. I forgot to mention that chaturdasa ragamalika 'sri Viswanatham 'and a Ramaraj kriti in raag surya which she sang that day is still ringing in my ears.
sorry, members for drifting away from the main subject . gobilalitha
