separate page for sahityam alone without discussions

Dear Administrator
I am seeing lots of 'rare kritis' appearing in sahityams and discussions. Mr.Lakshman is bringing lots of rare kritis either from rare books or by hearing the recordings. To my request once he brought a composition of brahmanand sung by Sri.BVRaman and BVLakshman. Since this is coming along with the discussions it is not available in one lot. Instead if a page is dedicated for such kritis, it will be nice to have everything in one place which will be useful for the music lovers. I saw some of the rare kritis of Sri.MDRamanathan in one of the discussion. Certain rare kritis of Dr.S.Ramanathan is available in the discussion about Sri.Vairamangalam. One or two rare kritis of GNB is available in one of the discussions. Since this site is doing a good service for the karnatic music lovers, kindly add one more page giving only the script which you are bringing in the discussions.

I am sure they can be put in the Wiki, instead of creating parallel pages in the forum.

Please consider adding the kritis under corresponding composers page in the Wiki. As a Rasika member, you can create any of the composers page that does not exist, and start adding kritis.

I concur with Ramakriya. The purpose of the wiki is to gradually phase out the need to ask for sahitya in the forum.

I found lots of lyrics posted by the members with the discussions. Since 'Sahityam & Identifications" are running tinto so many pages, one may not be knowing whether earlier request for any song is there or not and if there is a request, the administrator or the member has to repeat the script once again for any request by searching the entire lot. Some time the google search brings the sahitya from this sub head. To fecilitate all I suggested this.

Narasimhan: As srkris pointed out, the page http://www.rasikas.org/wiki/sahitya-in-forum has been created based on your request. That may not be exactly what you had in mind, but this is a way for the members of this forum to organize the information in the Sahitya Identification forum in a single index so it is easy to search and browse.

A simple way to contribute to this index is, edit the wiki page and add a link back to a thread where the lyrics of a particular composition is posted and discussed.

The above Wiki page is editable by logged in members of the forum. Our collective effort is needed to build the index back to these various forum links. Over time, it will become a substantial index and it will be useful to everyone. This is the Web 2.0 way.
