Chiranjeevi Rishikesh Tirumalai, a disciple of Dr.Ramachandran Suresh, will give his maiden mridangam concert (arengatram) on July 6, 2008 at 6.15 p.m at the Mini Hall of Music Academy in Chennai.
He will provide percussion support for renowned violin artistes and disciples of Sri. Lalgudi Jayaraman, Smt. Lalgudi Vijaya Lakshmi and Sri. Vittal Ramamurthy. Dr. S. Karthick will play the ghatam. Padmabhushan Lalgudi G. Jayaraman will be the guest of honour and Kalaimamani Srimushnam Rajarao the chief guest.
