Is there a problem with the site?

I tried logging on to the site for the last 3 or 4 days but was getting an error message that some SQL statements could not be executed and it was a fatal error. However I was able to log on today, but I see no messages after March 30.

Am I the only one who is having problems or there was some kind of a system crash and you had to restore it back to March 30, back up.

I am curious to find out.

That yes from Meena is for the first half of your query. The rasikas.org server is still down but srkris has restored a backup until March30 as we were all sorely missing the forum

Thanks Meena and drsshrikaanth. I thought something was wrong with my PC and I have been trying to troubleshoot the problem. I am relieved that the problem has been identified and I am quite sure the fix will be implemented soon.

Terribly disheartening to know about the rasikas.org site not working.Hope that it is restored soon , and we are able to carry on many erudite discussions on CM there.

Hi,

Yes, I have brought up the March 30th backup here (posts made on the first 5 days of April are not available).

The Rasikas.org server is still down and I have made an automatic redirect from the rasikas.org site so that people who dont know the existence of this backup site (i.e http://freepgs.com/carnatic/) will not have any problems.

Therefore, you can use either url (www.rasikas.org or www.freepgs.com/carnatic/) to access the current forum.

If and when the data for the first 5 days of April becomes available again, I will try inserting them here as appropriate.

My apologies to all users for this debacle and resultant confusion.
