I refer to the song 'saki piya 'by PRANAV BISWAS and shreya goshal from film 'KHOYA KHOYA CHAND'.. this song with a very graceful, mild background score of guitar is hauntingly melodious and makes you listen again and again.The thin and captivating voice of PranavBiswas blends nicely with the very sweet voice of SHREYA GOSHAL. , The song reminds you of the all time hits Badeacche lagte hain by ammet kumar ,film BOLIKA BADHU, MUSIC BY RD BURMAN, RAINA BEET JAYEN , LATA IN AMAR PREM, Kaise din beeten ,Lata in ANURADHA .I think ,this song is based on raag maanj kamaaj .The song can be heard in websites musicindia , raaga.com. hummaa.com happy listening gobilalitha

I know only 'kaisE din bItE ab' of all the songs you mention and loved it! I remember it as yaman, but then, I do not recall ensuing lines.
On a different subject: we haven't heard anything about Ramraj in a while. Any news about his progress? .

The song you mentioned is by Ravishankar, he has once said that he has set it in raag maanj kamaaj, his favorite., pl hear the other songs also , when you are free,. The other two are by RD Burman, especially the one in Balika badhu, the title itself will remind one of the good old days, when child marriages were in vogue. The song portrays a scene , where a very young husband(Sachin) ,takes leave of his very young, moon faced, innocent village girl (Rajni sharma) to go to a town. The song opens with a note, sort of melancholy feeling in violin. T hesong itself touches your heart. and tears well up in your eyes.. the song is available in musicIndia on line.com with lyrics
