*It was an exhaustive and unhurried presentation on a sunday morning 9.30-11.30am.The following is the gist ;-
*Raga mudra-How he has deftly brought in the kriti.
*MahakavyaNATAkathipriyam-Mahaganapathim.
*PranamayaKOSANIla(another name for Huseni)-Sri Kalahasti.
*KamakotiBILA HARInuthe-Kamakshi Varalakshmi.
*AharahapraBHALA HAMSA-Guruguhadanyam.
*Dridhredu khadi morDHANYA SIva-Mangaladevata dwaya-
*Antharanka bhakthajananam atisamePa RUJU marga dharchitam-Chintaye Mahalinga.
*Most of the Nottuswara sahityangal are in Dheera Sankarabharanam.
*He has imported a few Hindusthani ragas into CM,but gave carnatic touch to them.Shows his versatality.
*In Srivaralakshmi &Siddhi Vinayakam He has indicated on what day, month & Thithi Varalakshmi vridam&Vinayaka Chaturti will come for celebration everyyear.One need not look at the detailed calender(Panchangam)-Sravana Pornami poorvastha Shukravare,&Bhadrapatha masa Chathurthyam.

*When covering kritis for the Shetra he is prompt to include the Rivers flowing through the place.
*Tampraparni-- sri kantimathim. Jambhupathe-Kavery.
*Although according to the tenents of Mantra Shastra same word should notfigure again in the sloka/kriti.However, He has made use of words appearing more than once for invoking power.Namasthe-Thyagarajaya namasthe.The examples of YATIs were explained-Thyagaraja yogaVaibhavam.
*Arunachalanadam-Panchalinga shetra Kriti-AGNI-Thiruvannamalai-He has extensively handled RA bhijam meant for AGNI.
*Srinathathi Guruguho jayathi-Mayamalavagowlai-First kriti of MD- all the three Kalams are coming highlighting the importance of thrikala sadakam as a part of initial abhyasam.
*He has covered on the historical facts about the temples in the relevant kritis.
*Sadachaleswaram-no shadow will fall in the Achleshwarar sannidhi.
*The lamps were lit by water.(courtesy.Dr.Raghavan).
*Pahimam Ratnachala-Muhari.Abhisheka water being brought from Akanda Kaveri by one particular tribe.(even today it is said to be in vogue?).
*In the compositions covering Vishnu(Rama/Krishna) he has used all the 12 Namas Kesava,Narayana,Madhava,Govinda--Padmanabha,Damodhara.
*On Shetra kritis on Kancheepuram no mention being made for Kamakshi conceding the fact that She has been accorded already as a presiding deity..

*He has kept the controversy (admissible proyogams of seeemingly similiar Ragas) @rest by composing kritis in each of them.
*Bhowli-----Bhupalam.
*Kurinji------Navroj
*Aberi----Devagandharam
Again the raga mudra in VenA BERI to be observed.
*In Sringararasa manjari- he has mentioned about 72 melakarthas.
*MD being a vainika himself has mentioned about 22 srutis-i am not clear on this point -Can anyone explain?
* His handling of various Talas were also discussed.Ofcourse the therapeutic effects of Navagraha Kritis narrated.
* He infuses historical features of characters mentioned-
Ranganayakam--- Nayaki--Dinamanikula Bhava Raghava Aradhanam-Lord is worshipped by Rama who has descended from Surya Vamsa.
Sri Mathrubhootham-Vaishvajathi sree veshadharanam-description of Thayumanavar?
*Posture of Kamalambal-Thiruvarur-neither sitting or standing posture-being described as"Vinotha Charane".Some mention of somewhat like Yedukai/Moanai(Tamil) in Sanskrit --I donot understand -someone who attended to my rescue please?
