I have created a site www.taaraa.com as a community platform for young carnatic music students, amateurs and enthusiasts to upload their profiles, songs, views and news and make their talents visible to the external world. I am presently looking for a person to manage, edit and administer the site content by collating news and keep the site updated with current news and act as a moderator for the blogs.
Training will be provided to maintain the site. A part time compensation also will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for part time work for a student, housewife or a freelancer, one who appreciates carnatic music. The content editor need not be proficient in carnatic music. The person should be familiar in internet browsing and using a PC keyboard. Any one interested can get in tocuh with me at [email protected]. All the best.

Congratulations! This is the sort of initiative needed to encourage youngsters into Indian Music. I just visited your site which is well organized. Since it will host video/audio/blogs/chat it will be an excellent outlet for youngsters to display their talents and get known. I commend your site for all youngsters interested in Indian music.
Just a suggestion; don't restrict membership only to any limited age group since oldies like myself can also participate and share our ideas. I trust you will find a young energetic moderator who can help run your site. It is an excellent opportunity for budding youngsters.
GOOD LUCK! Keep us informed through this Forum..
