You are all cordially invited to our daughter's Bharatanatya Arangetram in Chennai with your family and friends.

A light dinner will be available after the recital.

I spent a happy evening at the arrangetram.

Not only was I warmly welcomed (as were all guests) but received a special welcome as a Rasikas.org member.

I am even less qualified to comment on dance than I am on music, but I can say that it was a beautiful performance.

Janani's movements were graceful but precise and full of expression. She never appeared to be showing off --- just presenting the dance, as a dancer should.

Congratulations to her, to her guruji and to her family. I am sure they are very proud; they certainly should be!

Sorry, I slipped away, as a plateful of food was already awaiting me at home, and it was getting late.

Hopefuly we will see you and your family here in Chennai again, perhaps even at one of our own get-togethers or concerts.
