CML, thanks for the work and good advice.
If you have interest, it may be worthwhile to have a ongoing survey on a survey-collection website (I think a member already suggested surveymonkey.com). This way one can collect detailed information anonymously over a long period. It should be easy for mods to send an e-mail with the survey link to members periodically.
I have only a 'clinical' interest and not particularly any survey-oriented. Just wanted to alert folks that the love of CM should not preclude them from enjoying other aspects of human life! In fact the right amount of CM promotes 'sAtvIkaM' in our generally 'tAmasik' life making us better humans. I would advice my 'clients' to develop a healthy understanding and interest in CM as part of their lifestyle. I also believe that the physiological effects of CM will be similar to the practice of meditation as have been validated through TM studies. But the psychological effcts are bound to be far more profound which have yet to be studied.
Judging by the interest among the younger generation in CM I trust this Forum can render a great public service by directing and providing the right guidance to the vast majority out there who lack the right information and tools. Now that we are attracting seasoned CM savants at this Forum I just entreat them: lead kindly light
