I watched a performance clip where a dancer performed the "nandichol" I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight on the significance of this item, and the lyrics if any. Thanks.

Nandichol, I believe is a composition where the syllables "NANDI" are interwoven into the rhythmic pattern of the dance.

for eg:-
thath , dith , tha-nam , nam , nam , thi
( NANDI )
it may represent the dance of Nandi, Lord Shiva's bovine vehicle who is the master of rhythm and percussion.

( somebody correct me if I am wrong ! )
