Coolji had U/L tribute video on Mysore T Chowdiah, some one by name Navarasan has copied them in youtube and he has acknowledged Coolji and rasikas.org for his act of copying. It appears that Coolji is totally upset about the turn of events.

Understandably so. Coolji has always maintained that the videos are for private viewing only; acknowledging someone without receiving their permission is base and uncouth to say the least. I am sure srkris also feels the same way that rasikas.org was acked.

I don't see any violation here . Did 'navarasan" violate the rules of this forum? I don't think so. Fellow member 'thanjavur" often borrow links from "sangeethapriya.org and post it here and no one has objected it sofar. Did srkris or any others oppose this practice? Coolji just forget this and contunue his business as usual.

I too think there is no violation of copyright or any such thing. All the Youtube videos bear the logo of Podhigai TV, a public medium. However, navarasan should not acknowledge coolkarni and rasikas.org without actually seeking and getting their OK. If navarasan used them as such (he put it in 6 min segments) there would not be any problem. Perhaps navarasan thought he was quieting his own conscience by acknowledging coolkarni.

Collating (not borrowing) links (that you can already access) is not the same as copying and uploading someone else's music.
