I wanted to say this for some time...
We have had many many participants here who have done a lot of good to this forum and the website in general... endaro mahanubhavulu antariki vandanamu.
But there are 3 among these who deserve our special thanks... two are individuals and one is a group.
1. Vgvindan for singlehandedly developing most of the content related to Thyagaraja in the wiki.
2. Ramakriya for likewise doing excellent work on the Dasar sahityas.
3. Last but not the least, the moderators who have been maintaining a benign composure against various provocations, even while actively moderating and making this place what it has become over the last 2+ years.
Thanks to all, and thanks in particular to the above three.
If anyone feels likewise in thanking anyone, please proceed. I am sure there are many many more individuals like Lakshman, Raja Chandra etc who have not been named above. Please thank them for their work.

Lakshman is like Sun in our Solar System.Yesterday I visited the home of the Son In Law of Karaikurchi Arunachalam- In search of rare material - at Kodambakkam.
The Conversation veered around to Lakshmanji and as soon as I told him that I am a part of a team along with him on the internet, he clasped both my hands:
"Please convey my best wishes to that gentleman.He will never know how many people's lives he has touched with his contributions.I thank him from the bottom of my heart."
It was a glorious evening (Mr Pitchai is his name , A chemical engineer and an expert on Hydrogen Peroxide) he is a good singer too (Studied under VS Babu).
So Lji ... Here is a toast to you.

Here is a humble comment from a novice. Shri Lakshmanji and Shri Govindanji contribute enormously to the education of neophytes like me. They just go out of their way to share their knowledge. To me they are the Haridasas of this century in propagating Karnatik Music. I also download music from Sangeethapriya.org and there are many many contributors in that site who work tirelessly in sharing their audio files etc. Shri TV Gopalakrishna is one such person who painstakingly contributes to that site. I specially like the fact that he promotes the young and upcoming musicians.
THANK YOU ALL FOR ENRICHING OUR LIVES EVERY DAY.

Everyone here has contributed in some way- big or small. Thanks to everyone for making this a fine forum.
I would take this oppurtunity to mention a few of us here. arunk and his transliteration scheme have been extremely useful. A lot of it has also gone into making the wiki a success. Keep up the good work arun.
CMLover- with his razor-sharp intellect and incisive comments, keeps discussions going. Coolkarni makes discussions and facts mentioned on the forum come alive by giving timely and apt musical illustrations from his vast collection. Lakshman- ever ready with lyrics and lists. These three have helped me in making success of some of the projects I undertook on the forum- such as the oDeyar thread.
Keep it coming guys.

Chembai,,
On behalf of all of us, we owe you thanks for creating, running and maintaining this site, giving all of us (from different corners of the world) with a passion for music in general, and CM in particular to indulge in. If nothing else, the friends that we have made from around the globe alone makes this a (priceless) mastercard moment!
Thanks!

Yes indeed!
The mahavAkya for the Forum is
tattvamasi
tat = this universe (Forum)
tvam = you (you the Rasika)
asi = you are
Hence every one of you indeed 'is' (grammatically right since we are of one mind and goal) this Forum. The glory and also the collapse of the Forum depends on each and everyone of you!
Once that realization sets in, we will all strive towards making this the finest edifice of CM!
Let us all contribute towards the grandeur of the Forum and share the glory equally and carry our membership herein as a badge of Honour. That will constitute the 'List' of the 'Rasika.org Hall of Fame'

After the thought-provoking discussions in the 'Gender and brahmam' thread I realized that we should not have a 'sexist' bias here at the Forum. The word RASIKA should be interpreted free of gender in our context (though it is masculine in most of our Indian languages). Let us adopt the famous legal dictum 'man embraces woman'
I have noticed that all the compliments above have been lavished only on members of known male gender. As we say here in Canada n'oublions pas Let me sprinkle the names of outstanding props of the Forum (known explicitly) of the opposite sex. First the silent worker behind the scenes (who brings order and discipline into the fold and who is a wizard in retrieving info (especially CM) from the net and the dark corners elsewhere and who spent (spends?) countless hours monitoring the Forum) is our 'meena' who deserves the thanks of all the Rasikas. The other is the discussant 'arasi' who brings dignity and maturity to our discussions and who is ever ready to provide lucid interpretations to abstruse lyrics and who is a splendid vaggeyakara (awaiting the unveiling!) in her own right. And of course there are many more hidden in the sexless pseudonyms. Suffice it to say that like Brahmam our thanks to RASIKA covers the whole pantheon irrespective of gender!

Thanks Srkris for the special thanks
I would like to thank everyone on the forum, for all their contributions. But I think I would like to specially thank Lakhman, Meena (how can I forget we live in the same metro village
called San Jose) and arunk for all his painstaking efforts for the universal editor.
