A melodious ragam, rarely heard. Harikambodhi janyam.

It seems mAye tvam yAhi is about the only kriti that's sung in this ragam. What are some of the other important kritis?

I wish this ragam is heard more in concerts.

the version sung today is a corruption (20th century). tarangini has D1 and I believe is part of cArukEsi mELa. Some schools of dIkshitar tradition still sing it with D1. But like nagumOmu, that version has lost the popularity contest :)

IMHO, this version of tarangiNi or sudhA tarangiNi, as some people call it, is no different than janjhUTi at all - (without any anyaswara prayoga)
