The concert started at 18 50 hrs after Sruti and Mike arrgt. Too long a period for the alignment of Mike. The mini hall was full of kids and parents. As usual with R N and S for all the kritis. The Tambura player [ Lady ] followed the concert vocally. An excellent concert for 3 hrs.
For the first time I listened. Amrutha Murali's playing Violin. Absolute silence was maintained. 75 seat capacity Hall was 75% full. A very good evening with chaste music. Credit goes to Shriman RK Venkatarama Sastri avl.

Thank you thanjavooran sir for your review(I hope others in usa also write please....Dont get sucked with whatsapp and facebook , also push it here in rasikas.org) ....3 hours violin is so so rare , one does not get it at all . Certainly Amritha Murali is a great violinist too like RKSK. I particularly like RKSK more as a violin solo artist than an accompanist ,even though i have only listened to 3 or 4 live concerts . I am assuming Lavanya K is a usa based artist. Kudos to Bay Area organizers for giving 3 hours despite microphone adjustments taking time.

Here in the home town of RKSK and Amritha Murali in Madras , cindrella time of just 120 mins , from mmg to shurutti
