Some comments: these perfromaces are usually streamed live, or after recording.
Chhau is the most recent addition by the SNA to the list of 'classical' Indian Dances.
The gOTipuA style of oDissI is a very gymnastic style - it was practiced mainly by young (probably pre-pubescent) boys, while the more graceful style that we are familiar with is the style that was originally practiced by the temple dancers of Orisssa (the mahArIs).
Exponents like Shri Raghunath Panigrahi (husband of and vocalist for the late Sanjukta Panigrahi who was synonymous with oDissi) are trying to convince the SNA that the oDissi style of singing is distinct from both CM and HM and deserves it own standing as the 3rd Indian classical music style. Nice to see that there is full oDissi vocal concert!
Wonder what sambalpuri dance is? - have heard of gouDIya nritya, the dance form from Bengal that is being considered for 'classical' status...
