Veena Recordings Please - Ranganayaki Rajagopalan

Hello Folks,

Would anyone happen to have any recordings of Smt Ranganayaki Rajagopalan or Smt Rajeswari Padmanabhan or Sri Karaikudi Subramaniam?

I am looking for the following krithis by them:

1) Padhavini - Salagabhairavi
2) Enta Vedukondu - Saraswathi Manohari
3) Chinna Naadena - Kalanidhi
4) Ramachandram Bhavayami - vasantha
5) Sarasiruha - Naattai
6) Naadha Thanumanisham - Chittha Ranjani
7) Sri Jaalanthara - Gambeera Naattai
8) Yochana - Dharbar

i have CD of Smt. Ranganayaki Rajagopalan but it is a commercial one (released in france). I have to check but i think it has (1) and (5).

We can have some AIR Tracks , but they do not have the above krithis.

Mishram,
As Arun has already indicated, Smt. Rajagopalan's CD is a commercial release. So he can't share those tracks with you. Arun can however, provide with details of the CD and you can try and buy it online.
Kji I am sure, will u/l non-commercial tracks if he can.

I got it when mami had a concert in chicago lo....ng ago. Online, i could find a couple of places (cuberoots.com), if googling, but very expensive.

The Doordarshan Clapboard-like-announcemnt says it is a composition of Swarna Venkateshwara Diskhitar-Any more info on this krithi ?

I see in your site that the hindOlam krithi is referred as swarna venkatEsha dikshitar and not swarna venkatEshwara dikshitar. As such only venkatEshwara dikshitar is more popularly known as venkatamakhin.

1. In cool's post above #8, he has mentioned as swarna venkatEshwara dikshitar , but it is swarna venkatEsha dikshitar. That was a correction I wanted to make.

2. To the best of my knowledge there is no one as swarna venkatEshwara dikshitar.

3. venkatEshwara dikshitar is more commonly known by the name venkatamakhin.

Correct me if I am wrong .
