Beautiful concert featuring wonderful alApana-s in charukesi, mohanam and shanmughapriya. Her krithi rendition and tanam were also top-notch. The RTP was cleverly conceived in a tricky tAla and the whole RTP was over an hour in duration. The bhAvayAmi was lovely - the best I have heard since MSS. Violin by MSN Murthy was very good, especially mohanam alapana and the tanam rendition. Sai Giridhar was mixture of dynamism and soukhyam!

Rajesh,
Under, above, siRidu, peridu...inda niRam siRidenRum, idu ETRadenRum sollalAmO? said bhArathi. Unless of course, one does it in a scholastic study or discussion
They all have their merits, though they could be different
Another question: since we are using expressions in different languages when it comes to musical terms, Mohan, you use the popular word eDam (after samam), a word for 'place'. iDam is the word which is used in the colloquial way there as eDam. it is not pronounced as in eDuppu. Nothing to do with cheese or waist, if you bend the latter the other way
RamAgAru is singing more tamizh krutis, that too with challenges like the opening line with three zha-s. Bravo! Mohan,
I am happy you could hear her in Sydney. She is a treat.
