Long back I remember making a post mentioning amrta behAg. This raga is a creation of GNB. The story goes that amrta behAg came out of some really vakra phrases that TNR attempted in kalyANi which inspired GNB to turn work on the idea of trying out some twisty phrases and coming up with a full fledged rAga that was totally distinct from kalyANi.

So here's the scale - a twisted arohana and a P-less and R-less avarohana. How much more twisted can it get?

Apart from this, there is a S N D N D / S N D S N D phrase in it.

Only his own composition to my knowledge exists in this rAgA - kamalacharaNe. He even composed an attractive chittaswaram for it.
