Krithi no #3 should be 'daya juchutaku idhi velara dasharathe'.

Seems like a forced attempt to include the rAga name. Spring is known for flowers, not fruits  More fruits are regarded as seasonal in summer. The line also lacks a verb which gives a sense of completeness.

Also the line in nIrajAkSi kAmAkSi is "gauri hindOLa dyuti hIra maNimayAbharaNE". If AbharaNa didn't fit the tALa structure, maNimaya sadanE would have made sense (as in RanganAyakam's "maNimaya sadanam SaSi vadanam") rather than vadanE.

Perhaps "hindOLa dyuti hIra maNimaya sadanAm; hritkamalavasantAm bhajatAm"...

phala can also mean result, consequence, reward, etc. Along those lines, the second part of the pallavi could describe the dEvi as someone who grants rewards like spring - love, perhaps??? After all, that’s the biggest consequence of vasanta Rtu....right? :)

Your skills at rationalizing are vera level @sureshvv - we're talking of the kind that saved illiterate Kalidasa from embarrassment. :D

The ancient, in humor pallavi lines--like 'katharik kAi vIsai enna vilai?' are one thing. Nowadays, i see a lot of new-fangled lines. Better leave it to RKSriram Kumar kind of scholars when it comes to sanskrit lines. Artistes can of course make up a line in their own language and happily sing it...
